1.      Application Process

         Applicant completes a Blue Sky Creamery^® Prospective Franchisee Questionnaire and submits to Nitro Ice Cream, LLC, along with third-party verification of assets.

 2.      UFOC Delivery

         Upon positive determination of application and financial qualifications, Nitro Ice Cream, LLC issues a Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC) to applicant to review.

 3.      Franchisee Interview

         After applicant has reviewed the UFOC, applicant submits a business plan to Nitro Ice Cream.

         After a positive review of business plan, Nitro Ice Cream invites applicant to an interview at Nitro Ice Cream, LLC headquarters in Boone, IA.

 4.      Site Selection and Review

         After identifying and analyzing a potential shop site, applicant seeks consent from Nitro Ice Cream, LLC for the site.  Nitro Ice Cream, LLC provides forms to guide applicant in analyzing proposed location(s).

5.      Franchise Agreement

         After consenting to the desired location, and a positive interview with applicant, Nitro Ice Cream, LLC issues a site-specific franchise agreement.  Nitro Ice Cream, LLC and franchisee agree to the terms of agreement.

         Nitro Ice Cream, LLC awards franchise and optional development incentive agreement.

6.      Construction

         After executing franchise agreement, franchisee begins working with Blue Sky Creamery^® architects to develop site-specific plans, through design development stage. 

         Construction documents are prepared and/or approved by local design/architecture firm.

         Franchisee bids construction to local builders.

         Local authority approves plans and permits construction.

         Construction begins.

7.      Pre-opening Marketing

         Franchisee works with public relations firm to arrange TV, print, and radio interviews.

         Franchisee begins marketing to local groceries, C-stores, and other local businesses, to establish as many wholesale customer agreements as possible.

8.      Training

         Franchisee or its approved manager successfully completes on-site training at their own shop.

9.      SHOP OPENS!

         Representative from Nitro Ice Cream, LLC stays on site for at least one week for additional training as required.

         Nitro Ice Cream, LLC provides continuing technical support as required by franchisee.

         Nitro Ice Cream, LLC maintains continuing relationship with franchisee to provide necessary materials, procedural updates, and additional training.
